When I founded AdventureTripr in early 2020, we had no idea a global pandemic was around the corner. Our original vision to connect people with transformative, global, active adventures led by vetted local guides was suddenly challenged by shutdowns and uncertainty.
But those early days shaped us. With no institutional funding, we leaned hard into technology. We built a robust backend that could scale our operations efficiently, support customers remotely, and deliver high-touch service - even across borders and time zones. That tech-first approach became our engine for growth.
Today, AdventureTripr offers 450+ curated, multi-day adventure trips in 45+ countries. We’ve grown organically through community and word of mouth, with 40% repeat and referral bookings and 99% 5-star reviews. At the TiECon 2025, we were honored to receive the TiE50 Award, recognizing our impact, innovation, and traction in building a scalable, tech-enabled travel platform.

We’re now spinning out TriprGenie.ai, a B2B SaaS platform that powers post-sale trip fulfilment and in-trip support for other travel brands, creators, and community-led experiences. It’s built on the very tech principles that helped AdventureTripr survive and thrive, combining AI automation with expert oversight to support logistics-heavy, real-world travel experiences at scale.
Even in its early stages, TriprGenie is already making waves. At TiECon, it was named one of the top 6 AI startups in the She Pitches program.
For me, this journey has always been about more than travel. It’s about using technology to bring people together, foster transformation, and make life-changing experiences more accessible. Whether through AdventureTripr or TriprGenie, we’re building toward a more connected, healing, and adventurous world.
