The slate includes a range of genres and themes. Stephen, a Tamil psychological thriller directed by Mithun and starring Gomathi Shankar, follows a psychiatrist who becomes entangled in the dark and complex mind of a self-confessed killer she is assigned to evaluate.

In #Love, a Tamil romantic series directed by Balaji Mohan and starring Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi, two unlikely partners navigate questions of chemistry and compatibility through a modern-day relationship experiment.
Made in Korea, directed by Ra Karthik, stars Priyanka Mohan alongside Squid Game actor Park Hye-Jin. The Tamil film tells the story of a woman whose long-planned trip to Korea is derailed by betrayal, leading to a personal journey of resilience and rediscovery.
In Telugu, Takshakudu, a folklore thriller directed by Vinod Anantoju, features Anand Devarakonda as a blind man who, with his loyal dog, seeks to avenge the deaths of his fellow villagers following a tragic incident.
Completing the lineup is Legacy, a Tamil crime drama directed by Charukesh Sekar, featuring R. Madhavan, Nimisha Sajayan, Gautham Karthik, Gulshan Devaiah, and Abhishek Banerjee. The series explores themes of power, inheritance, and family conflict in a high-stakes world of organised crime.
The announcement comes on the back of strong audience response to recent releases in Tamil and Telugu, both in India and internationally.
In 2024, Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja became Netflix’s most-watched Indian film globally, while Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar remained in India’s Top 10 for 14 consecutive weeks. South Indian titles, including Pushpa 2, Amaran, Leo, and Devara, also featured prominently in the Global Top 10 Non-English lists, reflecting a growing global interest in stories from the region.
Monika Shergill, vice president, Content, Netflix India, said the new lineup represents the platform’s continued collaboration with filmmakers and emerging voices from Tamil and Telugu cinema.
“We are excited and deeply committed to championing stories from the South across languages, cultures, and states,” she said. “The richness of storytelling from this region has been a cornerstone of our growth. We are now excited to bring the next wave of original stories, shaped in collaboration with emerging voices from Tamil and Telugu cinema, spanning gritty thrillers, comedies, rooted dramas, and cross-cultural romances.”
