According to the organizers, residents of PoK have long endured a lack of political representation, employment opportunities, food, and essential utilities.
They allege that the region's current state amounts to a humanitarian emergency, further claiming that Pakistan's security forces have actively restricted access to food supplies, basic necessities, and essential services.
Furthermore, organizers accused security forces of responding to recent peaceful demonstrations with the use of lethal force.
Demonstrators expressed severe concern regarding the safety of vulnerable groups, stating that women, children, and elderly residents are living under constant fear due to ongoing human rights violations, threats to their physical safety, and widespread hunger.
Approximately 100 U.S. residents with familial and personal ties to the region, including women, children, and various community leaders, participated in the Washington, DC demonstration.
By gathering in the capital, the organizers urged democratic nations and international human rights bodies to take immediate, definitive action to protect civilians and address the worsening humanitarian conditions affecting the population.

I never understand why people rush to protest in Washington, D.C., whenever something happens somewhere in the world. Apparently, these protesters missed the memo. Trump puts 'America First'—everything else is on the backburner. This protest is most likely a waste of time and effort

These are radicals that are now being devoured by radicals. Kashmir, once a peaceful, progressive Hindu nation was violently taken over by Islam. Killings and rapes and assumption of Kashmir identity by a radical ideology.
USA beware. The same will happen in the USA.
