Indian-born British chef and restaurateur Asma Khan said colonial history has distorted the West's understanding of Indian cuisine, reducing its diversity to the label "curry."
Appearing on Trevor Noah's podcast alongside Eugene, Khan said the Western world has embraced Indian food for decades without fully understanding the culture, history and people behind it.
