Kera Indian Kitchen, a new restaurant offering Indian cuisine, opened in Lexington, South Carolina, bringing a menu inspired by India's culinary heritage to one of the area's busiest commercial corridors.
Located at 5225 Sunset Blvd., Suite D, the restaurant held a soft opening on Aug. 10. The new establishment is situated in a shopping center along Sunset Boulevard, an area home to a range of restaurants, retail stores and other businesses.
Kera describes its culinary approach as a reimagining of India's spice heritage, combining authentic flavors with modern presentation. Its chefs use house-blended spices and fresh ingredients to create dishes inspired by the country's diverse culinary traditions.

The menu includes dishes such as Chicken Vindaloo, Rogan Josh, Palak Paneer and Masala Dosa, alongside fusion offerings and traditional desserts.
Kera’s extensive menu also reflects the diversity of Indian cuisine, spanning regional specialties from North and South India as well as coastal and Indo-Chinese influences. Diners can choose from vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetarian dishes, including Kerala-style seafood preparations, Hyderabadi and Malabar biryanis, Chettinad curries, tandoori specialties and a variety of dosas and breads.
The restaurant's philosophy is reflected in its message, “Atithi Devo Bhava,” an Indian expression traditionally associated with treating guests with the highest respect.
