A new Indian fine-dining concept blending Andhra-Telangana flavors with modern presentation is set to open in Leander, Texas, on March 31.
AnTenA Kitchen & Bar is targeting a soft launch at the Shops at San Gabriel Ridge, entering a fast-growing suburb with limited Indian dining options. The restaurant positions itself as a cultural and culinary bridge, bringing regional Indian traditions into a North American dining context.

The concept centers on reinterpreting Andhra and Telangana cuisine through a more refined, contemporary lens. It presents dishes with structured plating and curated combinations, aligning regional flavors with upscale dining expectations while retaining core elements of traditional cooking.
The menu is organized by protein categories, with vegetarian, poultry, meat, and seafood sections. Vegetarian offerings include Brussels sprouts prepared with garlic ghee and spiced lentils, while appetizers feature herb-infused chicken kebabs. Chicken selections highlight malai-based preparations with mint notes, and lamb and goat dishes include bone-in servings finished with chili-infused ghee.
Seafood options include shrimp paired with tangy reductions, while signature items feature variations of paneer tikka masala with tandoor-charred paneer in a spiced tomato base.
Other offerings include chili butter chicken lollipops, mushroom cream curry, and biryani, reflecting a mix of regional staples and adapted presentations.
The beverage program combines Indian-inspired cocktails, such as a Masala Paloma, with a range of premium spirits, including small-batch bourbon selections.
Chef-restaurateur Anil Annepu, who also operates Aroma in Round Rock, selected Leander based on its rapid residential and commercial expansion. He pointed to nearby large-format retail developments as indicators of increasing demand and positioned the restaurant to serve a growing, diverse customer base.
The restaurant is designed to emphasize a balance between casual comfort and elevated dining, with a focus on shared meals and curated choices.
AnTenA Kitchen & Bar is expected to operate daily from 11 AM to 11 PM.
