Indian American comic to headline Radio City Music Hall
Known for comedy rooted in identity and immigrant family life, Singh has built a national following through stand-up and podcasting.

Indian-American comedian and podcaster Akaash Singh is set to headline Radio City Music Hall in New York City on April 18, bringing his stand-up show to the Manhattan venue.
Singh, a first-generation Indian American from Dallas, Texas, has built his stand-up career around immigrant family life, identity, masculinity, and the experience of growing up Brown in the United States.

He is best known as co-host of the Flagrant podcast alongside comedian Andrew Schulz. The show, which began as a sports-focused podcast, later expanded into broader discussions on culture, politics, and current affairs, helping Singh build an audience beyond stand-up.
His stand-up career has also been shaped by online distribution and independently released comedy specials. His 2020 special Bring Back Apu, which addressed South Asian representation and stereotypes in American popular culture, drew wide attention online.
Singh has also appeared on television programs including MTV’s Guy Code and Netflix’s Brown Nation, while continuing to tour nationally and expand his audience through podcasting and digital platforms.
Singh has more than 5 million followers across social media platforms, including more than 2 million YouTube subscribers, over 1 million Instagram followers, and more than 2.2 million TikTok followers.
The Radio City show comes at a time when comedians are increasingly building national audiences through podcasts, streaming platforms, and self-produced content rather than through traditional television and studio-backed comedy channels.
“This show is a milestone — for me and for every South Asian kid who grew up wondering if there was space for them on a stage like this,” Singh said.
The show is scheduled for 8 p.m., with tickets listed from $45.
