The Hindu Empowerment Council will organize the 18th annual Hindu Mandir Empowerment Council (HMEC) Conference from Sept. 12 to 14, in Irving, Texas.
The HMEC Conference is the largest annual gathering of executives, community leaders, and scholars representing Mandirs, Gurudwaras, Ashrams, Derasars, and Hindu organizations.
The conference seeks to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and strategic partnerships to strengthen Hindu institutions across the Western Hemisphere.
Themed, “Hindu Diaspora – Mahakumbh of Sanatan Traditions,” it draws inspiration from the Kumbh Mela, symbolising unity within the Hindu community.
Along with HMPC, the 12th Hindu Mandir Priests' Conference (HMPC) will also be organized. HMPC honors the service of Hindu priests and volunteers who have played a pivotal role in preserving and promoting Dharma across the diaspora.

The HMEC Conference will be hosted by The Hindu Temple Society of DFW (Ekta Mandir) in Texas, along with many other mandirs and Hindu organizations like Radha Madhav Dham, Brahma Kumaries, Swaminarayan Gurukul, BAPS, Hindu University of America, International Hindu University, GHHF, etc.
It seeks to unite mandirs across North America to promote a shared vision and collective impact. The conference would also work towards empowering temple leadership through the exchange of best practices in management, seva, and governance, while inspiring youth engagement, leadership development, and generational continuity of Dharma.
The conference will feature renowned speakers from across the globe, including, Swami Swaatmanand from the Arsh Vidhya Gurukulam, Bhakta Rakshaka Swami, the Founder of Fundacion Bhagvata Dharma in South America, Prem K.V the Managing Trustee of Tatvamasi Dharmic Trust in India and Himani Shukla, a Mandir Vigrah restoration expert from India.
