Global Sikh Diaspora Unites for Veer Baal Diwas Tribute

January 2028 758 views 02 mins 37 secs

Dive into the global celebration of Veer Baal Diwas as the Sikh Diaspora honoured the anniversary on December 26 in the United States, UAE, Canada, New Zealand, and Greece. Initiated by the Indian government in 2022 to honour the martyrdom of Chhote Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh, this momentous occasion was marked by a significant gathering at Gurudwara Brookfield in Wisconsin, organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation (IMF). Sikh communities from Canada, under the leadership of IMF convenor Satnam Singh Sandhu, attended the observance, highlighting the importance of preserving the Sikh faith, culture, and India's integrity. Addressing the gathering Satnam Singh Sandhu remarked on the courage and devotion of the Chhote Sahibzadas and witnessed the Sikh community expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for acknowledging the sacrifices. President of Punjab Sports Club Chicago, Lakhbir Singh Sahota, reflects on Veer Baal Diwas as a bridge fostering global understanding of Sikh traditions. Subscribe for more insights into diverse cultural celebrations and significant events.
