San Francisco Unicorns/ Qualys / San Francisco Unicorns x Qualys
Professional cricket team San Francisco Unicorns have extended their partnership with the California-based cybersecurity company Qualys through the 2027 Major League Cricket season.
Under the renewed agreement, Qualys will continue as the team’s major partner and official cybersecurity partner for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The company will retain front-of-shirt sponsorship on the Unicorns’ matchday and training jerseys, with branding also appearing on staff kits, merchandise, and stadium advertising.

The two organizations first partnered in 2025, a season in which the Unicorns reached the league playoffs for the second consecutive year and played in front of home fans at the Oakland Coliseum for the first time.
“We’re thrilled to extend our flagship partnership with Qualys for a further two seasons,” said David White, chief executive officer of the San Francisco Unicorns.
“Building the Unicorns into a modern sports and entertainment success story requires partners who are aligned with our progressive, ambitious mindset. Our shared vision was reinforced last season and has since developed into a deeply rooted relationship that engages local communities while strengthening our elite sporting objectives,” he added.
White said the Qualys logo on the front of the team’s jerseys reflects the franchise’s technology-driven identity tied to the innovation culture of Silicon Valley.
“Cricket is a game of strategy, precision, and resilience, values that strongly align with how we innovate at Qualys,” said Sumedh Thakar, president and chief executive officer of Qualys.
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with the San Francisco Unicorns and support the growth of the sport in the Bay Area over the next two years. It's a natural extension of our dedication to building strong community connections and celebrating excellence,” he added.
The San Francisco franchise is scheduled to compete in the 2026 season of Major League Cricket beginning June 18 and running through July 18. The team will play under new head coach Cameron White.
Founded in 2023 as one of the league’s six original teams, the Unicorns play their home matches at the Oakland Coliseum. The franchise is led by principal owners Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, founding partners of the venture capital firm Rocketship.vc.
