Five Indian scientists working at leading U.S. universities have been recognized in the 2025 Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists, joining peers from around the world in one of the most significant unrestricted prizes for early-career researchers.
Two Indian-origin scholars were named Finalists in the National Awards, each receiving $15,000. Yogesh Surendranath, Donner Professor of Science at MIT, was recognized in the field of Chemical Sciences. Prateek Mittal, Professor at Princeton University, was named a Finalist in Physical Sciences & Engineering.
