US-based ice-cream brand Carvel has announced that it will set shop in New Delhi, launching its first store in the country, on Oct. 4.
With nine decades of industry experience, Carvel's entry into Indian markets is a significant step in the brand’s global expansion strategy.
Steven Yang, Senior Vice President of APAC at GoTo Foods, Carvel's parent company, highlighted the importance of this partnership and told Franchise India, “India enjoys desserts like no other country, and that makes it a natural fit for Carvel."
He added, "We’re entering a dynamic food market with a brand that has been part of family celebrations in the U.S. for generations."
