BAPS Temple, London listed in ‘top things to do’ in world
It’s a humbling experience that so many people recommended the Mandir, BAPS volunteers say.

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in London — popularly known as the Neasden Temple — has been recognized once again in Tripadvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice rankings for 2025.
The honor places the temple within the top tier of visitor-rated landmarks worldwide.
Tripadvisor selects winners based entirely on feedback posted by travelers over the past year, highlighting places that deliver consistently positive experiences.
Shivani Patel, a longtime volunteer at the Mandir, said that the recognition means a great deal because it comes directly from guests.
“We feel humbled that so many people have taken the time to share their experiences of the Mandir. People don’t just walk in to admire the architecture,” she explained. “They connect with the spirit of kindness and unity that the Temple represents.”
Fellow volunteer Niraj Rao added that welcoming visitors is seen as part of their spiritual duty. “We’ve been taught that faith is best shown through service,” he said.
“If people leave feeling calm, inspired, or simply cared for, then we’ve done our job.”
