Roy brings more than two decades of leadership experience in enterprise transformation, global delivery and growth strategy.

He has worked with CXOs at Fortune 500 firms and led large-scale modernization, digital acceleration and operating model transformation programs across sectors including financial services, technology, healthcare, retail and manufacturing.

“Sanjoy’s leadership comes at an important stage in our growth,” said Sagar Pelaprolu, chairman of AppsTek Corp. “His strength in defining vision, building disciplined go-to-market strategies, and driving execution at scale will help us sharpen our market positioning while delivering consistent client outcomes.”

Before joining AppsTek, Roy held senior leadership roles at Orion Innovation, Tata Consultancy Services and IBM, where he led global teams and enterprise transformation programs, according to the company and his professional profile.

At Orion Innovation, he served as senior vice president and global head of professional services. Before that, he was managing partner for consulting at Tata Consultancy Services and associate partner at IBM Global Business Services.

AppsTek said Roy will now lead its growth strategy, market expansion and global delivery recalibration, with a focus on AI-led innovation, intelligent ERP-led digital core services and scalable delivery infrastructure.

“AppsTek has already built a strong engineering foundation and long-standing client relationships,” Roy said. “Our focus now shifts towards AI-led innovations and interventions across ecosystems, building intelligent and scalable delivery and operational infrastructure as we help clients navigate the transition to an AI-led economy.”

Roy holds a master's in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a master’s degree in computer science from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from the Marine Engineering and Research Institute.
