Wingify, the parent company of VWO, has appointed Indian-American technology leader Aarthi Ramamurthy to its board of directors as part of its strategic shift toward AI-led innovation and global market expansion.
Ramamurthy, who currently serves as general partner and founder at AI-focused venture capital firm Schema Ventures, brings more than 15 years of experience in scaling consumer and enterprise technology platforms at giants such as Meta, Netflix, and Microsoft.
Her appointment is expected to strengthen Wingify’s product roadmap centered on server-side feature management, real-time personalization, and behavioral analytics for its digital experience platform, a release noted.

“Few opportunities excite me more than partnering with teams building global products at a technological inflection point like this,” Ramamurthy said. “With generative AI transforming the marketing technology landscape, Wingify is well-positioned to lead the next wave of personalization and optimization through its strong engineering and entrepreneurial leadership.”
Wingify CEO and co-founder Sparsh Gupta said Ramamurthy’s industry expertise and network would be invaluable to the company’s AI-first vision. “In addition to her exceptional technical and product expertise, Aarthi brings a deep understanding of scaling both consumer and enterprise products. Her perspective on AI applications will strengthen our platform and accelerate our international growth,” he said.
The board appointment aligns with Wingify’s strategy, supported by private equity firm Everstone Capital, to evolve into a global AI-first digital experience platform.
“This appointment reflects our philosophy of engaging global thought leaders to mentor and guide our portfolio companies,” said Sandeep Singh, managing director at Everstone Capital. “Aarthi’s insights will drive Wingify’s roadmap in experimentation, feature management, and real-time personalization.”
At Meta, Ramamurthy contributed to large-scale consumer products; at Netflix, she worked on streaming innovations; and at Microsoft, she focused on enterprise solutions.
Her experience as a venture capitalist at Schema Ventures further equips her to help Wingify navigate the evolving AI-driven marketing landscape. She holds a master's degree in software engineering from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India.
