Majumdar joins the firm following a 20-year tenure as president of Buffalo Biodiesel Inc., where he led the company's growth into a multi-state enterprise serving more than 30,000 locations. During his tenure, the company expanded waste-to-energy operations designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the conversion of used cooking oil into biodiesel fuel.

In his new role, Majumdar will oversee an international sustainability initiative aimed at creating more than one million green jobs worldwide while supporting efforts to reduce global carbon emissions. The firm said the long-term objective is to develop infrastructure capable of mobilizing large-scale environmental and economic projects across multiple regions.

Majumdar is also known for developing "Project Green Logic," a carbon-negative industrial hub and advanced materials research initiative. His work has included the design of waste-to-energy programs in Ghana, Nigeria and Mexico, as well as advocacy for climate accounting standards intended to improve the measurement of environmental impact.

Verite chairman and managing partner Don Jones praised Majumdar's expertise in sustainable industrial development, stating that his experience in environmentally focused employment, energy and agricultural initiatives will support the firm's mission of expanding economic opportunity.

"Don and I share an identical, uncompromising objective regarding the advancement of humanity. Our collaborative mission is to achieve large-scale environmental remediation and structurally protect underserved and marginalized communities. This alignment of purpose provides the ultimate return on my investment of time and expertise,” Majumdar said.

Verite Capital Partners manages billions of dollars in obligations and committed investments and focuses on ethical growth, sustainable infrastructure and long-term economic development across energy, agricultural and industrial sectors.
