Trump says Nobel Peace Prize winner dedicated award to him

While he did not name the Nobel laureate, Trump said he was “happy because I saved millions of lives.”

President Donald Trump on Oct. 10 said the recipient of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize had called to dedicate the honour to him, claiming credit for what he described as “the most important peace deals ever made.”

Speaking at the White House, Trump told reporters, “The person who actually got the Nobel Prize called today, called me and said, I’m accepting this in honor of you because you really deserved it.”
