Sonny Thadani returns to Accordion as New York City Office Lead

New York based AI financial consulting firm Accordion has appointed Sonny Thadani as its New York City Office Lead and Managing Director.

Thadani is re-joining the firm after a five year period. He served as Accordion's Chief Operating Officer in the firm's early days. He left the company in 2020 after an 10 year partnership.

Thadani returns with a deep understanding of Accordion’s unique clients and culture, coupled with fresh perspective gained from his leadership roles outside the firm, said the company in a statement.

Nick Leopard, Founder & CEO of Accordion recalled Thadani's contributions in the early years of the company and said, “Sonny helped build this firm from the ground up and was part of Accordion’s fabric even during his time away."

Leaving the company in 2020, Thadani co-founded Robin, a digital coaching platform designed to support the future of learning through curated content, assessments, and live virtual sessions.

A graduate of Syracuse University, he worked as the Vice President of real estate firm Brown Harris Stevens, before joining Accordion in 2010.

Expressing joy over the appointment, Thadani said, "“Our ability to attract incredible talent has grown over the years."

He added, "The New York Office Lead position feels like the perfect fit, as it allows me to focus on two things I love: delivering for clients and helping top talent thrive."
