The Shrimad Rajchandra Spiritual Center USA hosted a three-day 'Festival of Bliss' from Sept. 26 to 28 to celebrate the 60th birth anniversary of its founder, Gurudevshri Rakeshji.

The event drew attendees from across the globe for a blend of devotion, music, and service. In his address, Gurudevshri spoke about transforming human birth into a 'Festival of Bliss' through awareness, detachment, and compassion.

The festival featured musical tributes, spiritual discourses, and an 'Atmarpit Diksha' ceremony, where three devotees dedicated their lives to service. A large-scale humanitarian initiative saw volunteers hand-pack more than 100,000 meals for communities worldwide facing hunger and malnutrition.

In partnership with St. Luke’s University Health Network, the center’s charitable arm, Shrimad Rajchandra Love & Care USA, organized the 'Poconos Health and Wellness Fest' on Sept. 27. The free event provided licensed medical care, preventive screenings, and wellness workshops for more than 250 residents of the Pocono Mountains.

Services included diabetes, cholesterol, and blood pressure tests, as well as dental, vision, and dementia screenings. Participants also attended sessions on nutrition, women’s health, yoga, and stress management.

“Working alongside St. Luke’s allowed us to merge community service with medical expertise,” said Chintan Mehta, a trustee of the organization. “True wellness means balancing mindfulness with access to preventive healthcare.”

Physicians, therapists, and wellness coaches offered consultations, CPR training, and educational resources at no cost. The initiative aimed to remove financial and logistical barriers to healthcare while reinforcing the center’s commitment to community well-being.

The 'Festival of Bliss' and the health fair together showcased the organization’s mission to unite inner transformation with social impact—turning celebration into service.
