He will be responsible for driving strategy, portfolio expansion, business growth, and client outcomes across connected AI, cyber-physical systems, and AI systems engineering.
Mocherla brings more than 25 years of experience in technology services, with deep expertise in product engineering, engineering research and development, and industrial operations.

Prior to joining Hexaware, he spent over a decade at Capgemini, where he served as Industry Head and profit-and-loss leader for the engineering and R and D business in the Americas.

Most recently, he led the industrial manufacturing, automotive, rail, aerospace, and defense sectors and was a member of the ER and D Americas executive committee.

“Raghu brings a powerful combination of product engineering depth, industrial domain expertise, and a track record of scaling global businesses,” said Sanjay Salunkhe, president and Global Head – Digital & Software Services at Hexaware.

“As our clients rethink how products, software, and operations come together in an AI-first world, his leadership will be central to sharpening our Digital and Software Services strategy and taking this business to its next phase of growth.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mocherla said he was looking forward to leading Hexaware’s expansion in cyber-physical software and systems and positioning the company as an end-to-end technology services partner delivering AI-driven innovation across IT, product engineering, and manufacturing.

Mocherla holds a bachelor of engineering in computer science engineering from the University of Madras. He also earned master’s degrees in business management from the Asian Institute of Management and the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Hexaware said the appointment comes as enterprises increasingly integrate advanced software, intelligence, and connectivity into physical products, platforms, and industrial operations.

The company’s Digital & Software unit focuses on enabling clients to modernize products and operations through connected AI, edge intelligence, and end-to-end cyber-physical systems.
