The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), in partnership with Routes2Roots, is launching a year-long series of online certificate courses in Indian dance, music, and traditional arts beginning in July 2026, offering three levels of training for learners worldwide, including members of the Indian diaspora.

The Consulate General of India in Houston also promoted the initiative on X, encouraging members of the diaspora to explore India's cultural heritage through the online courses and inviting prospective participants to register before classes begin in July.
The one-year program offers certification across three levels, Beginner, Intermediate 1, and Intermediate 2, in Indian dance, music, and traditional art forms.
The Beginner level includes Bhangra, beginning July 22 and held every Wednesday at 4 p.m. IST, and Calligraphy, beginning July 21 and held every Tuesday at 3 p.m. IST.
The Intermediate 1 level features live classes in Madhubani Painting starting July 16, Hindustani Classical Vocal from July 18, Bollywood Dance from July 17, and Tabla from July 20.
The Intermediate 2 level includes live classes in Bharatanatyam beginning July 22, Kathak beginning July 17, and Odissi beginning July 20.
According to the poster, the full-year program costs $175, with an option to pay $50 quarterly. Recorded packages for Beginner and Intermediate 1 courses, excluding Bhangra and Calligraphy, are available for $25 for the full year.
