A live musical ensemble led by Anushka Pandit, accompanied by Max Rathod from India, kept the audience engaged throughout the evening. “It’s always a joy to see our community come together to celebrate tradition, music, and devotion,” Pandit said.
The Garba program began at 7:15 p.m. and paused at 9:15 p.m. for the First Aarti for Ambe Mataji, followed by the Aarti for Umiya Mataji. Devotees were then served Maha Prasad. After a short break from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., the festivities resumed with Dandiya Raas, continuing until 11:15 p.m.
The venue was elegantly decorated, offering an inviting atmosphere and perfect backdrop for photographs. Food options were available from Tasty Bites USA, adding to the evening’s experience.
Organizers acknowledged that the event’s success was made possible through the generous contributions of Mithabhai and Jayantibhai’s family of Orland Park.
Special recognition was also extended to KPS trustees, volunteers, and particularly the young volunteers whose dedication ensured smooth execution of the celebrations.
