Indian universities' team bags series win in Australia

Playing against an Australian Universities' team, the Indian side secured a 4-2 series win.

The Indian Universities Cricket Team has secured a thumping win over their Australian counterparts in a bilateral university series played in Australia.

Ending the series 4-2, the Indian team won the 6-match bilateral series. The first three matches were played in Brisbane on Dec.10, 11 and 12. The second half of the tour saw the remaining three matches played in Sydney on Dec. 16, 17 and 18.

The Indian side visited Australia as part of a reciprocal tour following Australia’s 2024 tour to India.

A squad of 24 Australian student-athletes representing 10 different universities from across Australia were selected to play in six matches against the Indian Universities Team.
