According to the forum, volunteers have been picking up stranded passengers from airports and arranging temporary accommodation until flights resume.
It said the IPF Sharjah Chapter Convenor Jayaprakash and volunteer Suresh Kashi assisted a Punjabi family late at night and would transport them back to the airport once their onward journey resumes.
In another case, the forum said it helped a Sikh man and his sister board an Air Arabia flight from Sharjah to Kochi after arranging language assistance, as they spoke only Punjabi. Volunteers also coordinated their onward travel from Kochi to Chandigarh.
The organization urged community members to save and circulate the helpline numbers to ensure timely assistance reaches those affected by the disruptions.
