Indian-American tech entrepreneur marries in high-profile Udaipur celebration

The wedding drew tech leaders, celebrities and political figures.

Indian-American tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju is at the center of a high-profile wedding in Udaipur this week, where he married Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based pharmaceutical executive Rama Raju Mantena. The multi-day celebration has drawn business leaders, entertainers and political figures from the United States and India.

Photos and videos circulating on social media since earlier this week show large gatherings across multiple venues in the city. The couple got married on the night of Nov. 23.

Gadiraju, based in San Francisco, is the co-founder and chief technology officer of Superorder, a technology platform designed to streamline delivery and takeaway operations for multi-location restaurants. 

According to his LinkedIn profile, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University and previously attended The Harker School in San Jose, California, where he captained the debate team and ranked nationally in the top 10 in the Economics Club. He was also recognized as a National AP Scholar.

After graduating in 2019, he began working on Superorder. The platform now supports more than 1,000 restaurants across 30 states and 180 cities. The company has raised $12.5 million and is backed by Y Combinator and Slow Ventures. In 2024, Forbes included Gadiraju and co-founder Raghav Poddar on its 30 Under 30 list in the Food and Drink category.

The bride, Netra Mantena, is the daughter of Rama Raju Mantena, CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals. The couple’s romance remains largely private, though their Upnayanam ceremony took place in Andhra Pradesh in November 2024.

 



A fashion influencer Saiesha Gogia, who attended the events described the decor as “incredibly grand” and the food as the standout element of the night. He said the evening ended with a set by DJ Chetas.

According to her video on instagram, guests at the wedding included Donald Trump Jr., Jennifer Lopez and real estate developer Kalpesh Mehta. Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have performed at pre-wedding events.

At the sangeet, filmmaker Karan Johar hosted a segment modeled after his television show. Separate footage shared online shows Ranveer Singh encouraging Donald Trump Jr. and others to dance during the celebrations.
