Global Tamil Nadu House announced in Chennai

The launch of the Global Tamil Nadu House, a project planned for Washington, D.C., was announced during a ceremony held in Chennai at the Grand Success Celebration of the 12th World Tamils Economic Conference.

The announcement was made by Dr. VRS Sampath, president of the conference, and Dr. Rajan R. Natarajan, chairman of the organizing committee. Both leaders described the initiative as the first of its kind.

The event brought together political, business and community figures. Attendees included TKS Elangovan, former member of Parliament, Dr. VGP V. G. Santhosam, chairman of VGP Group of Companies, Dr. Pariventhar, chancellor of SRM Group, Dr. Palani G. Periyasamy, chairman of Le Royal Meridien, Chakkraverthy, vice president of BJP Tamil Nadu, Vallalar, IAS commissioner of the NRT Department, and Saravanakumar, deputy high commissioner of the Malaysia High Commission in Chennai.
