Companies represented at the event included Ford Motor Company, Stellantis, Herman Miller, DTE Energy and AAA.

A message from Somnath Ghosh, Consul General of India in Chicago, was delivered during the event by Matbar Singh Chouhan, Counsel at the Consulate General of India in Chicago. The message highlighted India’s economic growth and emphasized the importance of the India-US partnership in manufacturing, research and technology.

According to organizers, procurement teams issued requests for proposals directly to qualified suppliers during the expo, which also facilitated partnerships between businesses in the automotive, technology, healthcare and energy sectors.

“Our vision for this expo was simple: create a room where real business happens,” said Anu Gopalakrishnan, executive director of IACC-USA. “We didn't want another networking event. We wanted to build a marketplace where diverse businesses meet decision-makers, where young professionals find pathways to careers, and where collaboration turns into commerce.”

A major highlight of the event was that young professionals secured employment opportunities through workforce development initiatives.

Manoj Sachdeva, vice chairman and founder, stated, "Seeing young students in the  room alongside seasoned executives was profoundly inspiring. This is what next-generation  leadership looks like—curious, engaged, and ready to step up. We're not just building  businesses; we're investing in the leaders who will shape the future of our community."

Avinash Rachmale, chairman and founder of IACC-USA, said the organization continues to focus on building economic connections more than two decades after its founding.

“Watching businesses connect, deals begin, and young talent find opportunity—this is exactly why we built IACC,” Rachmale said.

Dinesh Shah, president of IACC-USA, said the event created opportunities for both established companies and emerging entrepreneurs to engage with suppliers and business leaders.

The expo also included an executive networking reception attended by elected officials and senior business leaders.

Founded in 2003, the Indo American Chamber of Commerce - USA is a non-profit organization focused on supporting entrepreneurs, business professionals and US-India economic partnerships.
