Experts weigh Russia, Pakistan, China in US-India defense talks

Russia’s enduring role in India’s arsenal, Pakistan’s return to regional debates, and China’s rising assertiveness dominated a Hudson Institute dialogue this week on the U.S.–India Defence Compact.

At the Hudson Institute’s Motwani Jadeja U.S.–India Dialogue, senior diplomats, defence officials, and industry leaders examined how the two countries’ defence ties have evolved from nuclear sanctions to a USD25 billion partnership.
