The Consulate General of India, Houston, participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, celebrating the enduring friendship and cultural exchange between India and the United States.
The rodeo, a Texas tradition since 1932, is renowned for its thrilling events and its embodiment of values such as hard work, resilience, and community spirit, ideals shared by both nations.

As part of the consular corps, the Indian Consulate took part in the ceremonial rodeo race, symbolizing mutual respect, fraternity, and collaboration.

The Consulate shared glimpses of the event on X and wrote,

The Consulate also highlighted the vision of Viksit Bharat, a Developed India, emphasizing democratic values, human rights, innovation, and diversity as key pillars of India’s development.
