Aruna Miller celebrates Maryland-India economic partnership

The partnership between Maryland and India continues to create new opportunities for trade, investment and innovation, Maryland Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller said Aug. 4.
Her remarks came at an event organized by the American Telugu Association in Baltimore.
"It was an honor to join the American Telugu Association in Baltimore and celebrate a community that continues to strengthen Maryland through innovation, entrepreneurship, and public service," she said on X.

Miller said that as an immigrant and proud member of the Telugu community, the gathering was especially meaningful.
"The partnership between Maryland and India continues to create new opportunities for trade, investment, and innovation—and I'm proud that our state is a place where businesses can grow, ideas can thrive, and people from every background can build a brighter future together," she said.

Separately, she also attended an event organized by the Andhra Medical College Alumni of North America.
