In a story that questions whether love is chosen by family or discovered by instinct, World Cinema Partners has announced the global release of its romantic drama, 'Arranged Love', a 2025 Australian film that examines the tension between duty and desire.

The U.S.-based digital content, film production and distribution company unveiled the film this week.

Directed by filmmaker Sanjane Koneshamoorthy, the project offers a gentle yet emotionally resonant portrayal of love shaped by culture, family expectations and personal choice.

At the heart of 'Arranged Love' is Merunasri, a young woman torn between an arranged match with the earnest but socially awkward dentist Dhaventhiran and a deeper, more spontaneous emotional connection that challenges her understanding of love and fate.

Rather than staging a blunt clash between tradition and modernity, Koneshamoorthy’s film explores the quieter negotiation between family duty and individual freedom. Through understated performances and careful scripting, the story presents love as something that develops gradually — built on patience, compromise and mutual understanding — suggesting that lasting connection often unfolds in quiet moments rather than dramatic declarations.
