American Academy inducts Indian diaspora leaders in 2026 class

The list inclues Google CEO Sundar Pichai among other experts who will collaborate across disciplines to produce independent research aimed at aiding policy.

The American Academy of Arts and Sciences has inducted 10 Indian diaspora industry experts to its fold, announced Academy President Laurie L. Patton and Chair of the Board of Directors Goodwin Liu. The Academy, with more than 14,500 inductees, announced that more than 250 outstanding individuals have been elected in 2026.

The AAAS is both an honorary society that recognizes and celebrates the excellence of its members and an independent research center convening leaders from across disciplines, professions and perspectives to address significant challenges.
