AGCO elevates Indira Agarwal to chief financial officer

Agarwal will lead AGCO’s financial operations as CFO, overseeing accounting, reporting, controls, M&A and financial strategy while continuing as chief accounting officer.

Georgia-based agricultural machinery company AGCO Corporation has promoted Indian-origin executive Indira Agarwal to senior vice president and chief financial officer as part of a series of leadership changes.

Agarwal, who previously served as AGCO’s vice president and chief accounting officer, succeeds Damon Audia as CFO. She has more than 20 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, business integration, financial controls and regulatory compliance.

Agarwal joined AGCO in 2024 as chief accounting officer. During her tenure, she has worked to strengthen the company’s financial reporting, internal controls and efficiency initiatives. She has also been involved in AGCO’s transformation efforts, including work focused on structural profitability and strategic mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining AGCO, Agarwal served as vice president, chief accounting officer and controller of HF Sinclair Corporation, where she also led the company’s financial planning and analysis organization. She previously held finance leadership positions at HF Sinclair, Cardtronics and Direct Energy.

Agarwal will continue to lead AGCO’s accounting organization as chief accounting officer while the company searches for her successor in that position. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Delhi University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom.
