Philadelphia-based healthcare network, Health Union, awarded cancer specialist Dr. Eric K. Singhi with the 2025 Social Health Awards' 'Revolutionary Researcher' award.
Dr. Singhi is an oncologist and assistant professor at the Department of General Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Along with Singhi, nine other healthcare professionals were honoured as part of 2025 class of awardees.
The awards program stands as the premier platform dedicated to honoring the unwavering dedication and impact of health leaders, patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Julie Croner, Vice President, Community Development at Health Union, described the winners as sources of hope and said in a statement, "We are constantly in awe of the leaders in our community who have taken their personal journeys and transformed them into a source of hope, inspiration, and action for millions."
Croner further said, "These awards are our way of saying thank you. They are our way of making sure these incredible individuals are seen, heard, and celebrated for the tangible change they bring to the world."
Expressing joy over winning the award and the opportunity to attend the ceremony, Singhi exclaimed that he was "beyond grateful for this opportunity to educate and connect with others about the importance of early detection, ongoing research, and compassionate care in the world of lung cancer".
Singhi has been a part of the Indian American Cancer Network since 2023. An alumnus of Medical University of South Carolina and Duke University, he completed his Clinical Residency from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee.
