Hinduphobia in the West: Bias, Narratives & The Bigger Question

July 2026 17 views 7:10

January 2026. Cary, North Carolina. A sacred idol inside the Sri Venkateswara Temple is vandalised. Just months earlier, in August 2025, anti-India graffiti appeared on the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Greenwood, Indiana. In July 2025, Melbourne's Swaminarayan Temple was defaced with racist graffiti telling Hindus to "go home." Hinduphobia isn't limited to attacks on temples anymore. It has entered universities, Congress and even the world's biggest online encyclopedia.
