The Inspirational Young Alumni Award recognizes significant contributions through professional achievement or community service and honors individuals who demonstrate excellence in post-academic life and continued commitment to professional work, research, multicultural relations, and volunteerism while emerging as leaders in their fields.

Currently the senior design manager at Nevada-based Redwood Materials, Korra leads end-to-end infrastructure design and delivery for lithium-ion battery recycling facilities, coordinating teams, schedules, and quality to support scalable growth.

Prior to that, he held roles at Amazon, with earlier experience at Integrated Design Architecture based in Albuquerque. Korra is affiliated with the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Green Associate and with the Construction Specifications Institute, where he serves on the editorial advisory board for The Construction Specifier.

He is also active as a researcher, speaker, and contributor to industry publications, with work addressing circular economy, low-carbon materials, green warehouses, sustainable construction, and data center sustainability.

During his time at UNM, Korra was a member of the American Institute of Architecture Students and received the International Amigo Scholarship in April 2016. The Hyderabad native has also pursued an MBA program at Western Governors University.
