Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.), ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on South and Central Asia, sharply criticised President Donald Trump this week over his handling of U.S.-India relations, warning that his tariff policy was undermining a critical partnership.
“I rise as the ranking member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on South and Central Asia to sound the alarm about the deterioration of our strategic partnership with India at the hands of Donald Trump,” Kamlager-Dove said in remarks on the House Floor on Sept. 8 as per the Congressional Record.
