Organizers said the primary aim of the event was to familiarize the community with the richness of the Sikh Kirtan tradition and to emphasize the spiritual significance of Raags.

Kulwant Singh, who traveled from the Columbus Gurdwara Sahib, addressed the congregation on Gurmat Sangeet (devotional songs). He explained that in traditional Sikh practice, Raag is not merely a decorative element but a spiritual discipline that connects the mind with the Almighty. He also performed Kirtan during the Darbar.

Hem Singh, head priest of the Dayton Gurdwara, and Prem Singh also recited Kirtan and expressed gratitude to members of the Sangat who had traveled from surrounding cities to participate in the program.
