Americans4Hindus (A4H) hosted a virtual Meet & Greet with American Hindu leader and candidate for Attorney General of the State of New York, Saritha Komatireddy and endorsed him publicly, on Dec. 21.

A4H is an independent, non-partisan political organization dedicated to empowering Hindu and pro-Hindu Americans through civic engagement, leadership development, and support of qualified candidates committed to constitutional values and public service.

The session opened with A4H Global President Pramit Makoday’s speech about Komatireddy, highlighting her credentials.

Makoday further mentioned that Komatireddy is the only prosecutor in the race from Harvard University and has teaching experience at Columbia University.

A4H Communications Vice President Geeta Sikand spoke about the requirement for qualified American Hindus to engage actively in the political arena, underscoring that meaningful civic participation is essential to ensure strong and authentic community representation.

While presenting her remarks, Komatireddy identified Affordability and Safety as New York’s two most pressing challenges. She, then, shared her proven record of prosecuting dangerous criminals, including an ISIS terrorist, and affirmed her commitment to restoring security and public safety across the state.

Founder and Chairman of A4H, Dr. Romesh Japra, made an appeal for the community to extend their full support to Komatireddy, especially at the grassroots and early fundraising stages.

Japra also drew a parallel with strong community-backed campaigns, emphasizing that early and united support from Hindu Americans is critical.

A4H formally announced its full endorsement of Komatireddy, with Social Media Chair and Political Strategist, Sandeep Deswal, pledging comprehensive national-level support.

Deswal mentioned that this high-profile race requires engagement not only from New York but from supporters across the country, as public safety has become a defining issue in major U.S. cities.

A4H New York Chapter Vice President Monolita Mitra and A4H New York Chapter President Dr. Rakesh Shreedhar announced plans to host a series of in-person Meet & Greet events across different regions of New York State, enabling direct interaction between the candidate and community members.

President of A4H Denver, Colorado, Hemal Trivedi, praised Komatireddy for taking the step into public service, highlighting the duty and dharma of second-generation Hindu Americans to become more engaged in politics, contribute to civic life, and ensure sustained representation of the community at all levels of government.
