US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sept. 11 underscored India’s significance to the United States, describing it as “one of the top relationships” and a central pillar of the Indo-Pacific region.
Rubio made the remarks during the Senate confirmation hearing for Sergio Gor, nominated as America’s next ambassador to India.
