Samant brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the technology sector, having founded and scaled multiple global businesses operating across more than 20 countries.

Most recently, Samant served as president and chief executive officer of GlobalLogic, a digital engineering services company that was acquired by Hitachi Ltd. in a deal valued at approximately $10 billion. He continues to serve on the boards of Hitachi Energy and Hitachi Rail.

In addition to his roles within the Hitachi ecosystem, Samant serves on the boards of several global corporations and technology firms, including Mercedes-Benz, Hilti Corporation, Eureka Forbes, Turing and Cyderes. He is also a senior adviser to private equity firms Permira and Apollo Global Management.

Tredence co-founder and CEO Shub Bhowmick said Samant’s experience building global technology enterprises and guiding organizations through large-scale transformations would provide valuable strategic insight as the company continues to expand.

The company said Samant has spent recent months working closely with its leadership team to evaluate market opportunities and long-term growth strategies, giving him familiarity with the company’s business and vision.

Samant said enterprises are increasingly seeking partners capable of delivering measurable business outcomes rather than technology solutions alone.

“Enterprise leaders today aren't just buying technology; they want strategic partners who drive tangible business outcomes. Tredence stands out because they are actively defining a new category centered on last-mile AI execution. They have earned the trust of global brands, with their customer centricity and strong execution skills. I look forward to working with the leadership team to scale this category-defining approach worldwide,” he said.

The company, in a statement said that the move will support its next phase of growth and global expansion in artificial intelligence.
