Niranjan Seshadri to co-author ‘Lead with Empathy’

The project will focus on empathy as a leadership and decision-making tool.

Indian-origin cardiologist and healthcare entrepreneur Niranjan Seshadri will co-author a new book titled ‘Lead with Empathy’.

The book, releasing under SuccessBooks, is being written in collaboration with negotiation expert Chris Voss and a group of business leaders. It is scheduled for release in Spring 2026.

‘Lead with Empathy’ will examine how trust, human connection and understanding are shaping modern leadership practices.

Seshadri brings more than two decades of experience working at the intersection of medicine, technology and law. He is an interventional cardiologist trained at the Cleveland Clinic and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School and is currently affiliated with the DeBakey Heart Institute.

He is the co-founder and chief executive officer of HelixaHealth.ai, an artificial intelligence-driven precision wellness company that integrates genetic data, lifestyle patterns and medical records to deliver personalized health guidance. 

He is also the co-founder and CEO of Nectara.ai, which develops neuroimaging AI tools to support the treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy.

In addition, Seshadri serves as chief legal officer of Mayan Healthcare Design, a cross-border healthcare development initiative in Mexico, and advises public interest groups and startups on healthcare policy, regulatory compliance and artificial intelligence governance.

He is also the co-author of Himalayan Tsunami, a book documenting the human and environmental impact of a major natural disaster and the long-term recovery that followed.

Seshadri earned his medical degree from Mysore Medical College at the University of Mysore in India, where he was the best graduating student and received the S.P. Aniker Gold Medal for Academic Excellence. 

He later earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and completed a master of laws at the University of California, Berkeley, in December 2025, with specializations in artificial intelligence law and technology law.
