ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ, ਹੋਮਲੈਂਡ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਡੇਲੀ, ਟੈਕਸਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਟੈਕਸਾਸ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਨਜ਼ਰਬੰਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
