On January 19, ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States, Hindu Americans gathered at the inaugural Presidential Inauguration Hindu Gala in Washington, DC. Organized by the American Hindu Coalition (AHC) in collaboration with the Latino American Coalition, the event celebrated Trump’s support for Hindu values and the growing political influence of the Hindu American community.
