Massive winter storm blankets US states

January 2025 935 views 03 Min 08 Sec

Millions of Americans from the Plains to the East Coast will be facing the threat of blizzards, heavy snow, treacherous ice, and freezing rain, as per the National Weather Service. Reports indicate that five states have declared an emergency. Mayank Bhagwat, a resident of Missouri, says that roads in his area are covered with thick snow of about 2 inches. The Kansas City International Airport in Missouri closed temporarily on Jan. 4 afternoon due to rapid ice accumulation, officials said on social media.
