Scholars discuss the future of universities in US

April 2025 868 views 02 Min 24 Sec

President Trump has signed numerous executive orders that directly impact all aspects of universities. His administration has severely cut funding for scientific research, targeted universities whose policies purportedly fail to combat antisemitism, and revoked visas and sought to deport international students for their political opinions. The administration also wrote a letter to all universities demanding they dismantle all DEI programs.
