US will not tolerate CCP's exploitation of universities or theft of research to grow its military power: Trump Admin

Defensing its decision to start revoking revoke visas of Chinese students including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields, the Trump Administration on May 29 said the United States will not tolerate CCP's exploitation of US universities or theft of US research to grow its military power.

“The United States will not tolerate the CCP's exploitation of US universities or theft of US research, intellectual property or technologies to grow its military power, conduct intelligence collection or repress voices of opposition,” State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce told reporters at her news conference.

She was responding to a series of questions on the decision of the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to start revoking visas of students from China.
