The playoffs are set to commence from July 15 / X/ MLCricket
The 2026 Major League Cricket playoffs will get underway at the Oakland Coliseum on July 15, with the San Francisco Unicorns, Los Angeles Knight Riders, Washington Freedom and MI New York set to battle for the championship after advancing from the league stage.
League leaders San Francisco Unicorns and second-placed Los Angeles Knight Riders, who both finished on 12 points, will meet in Qualifier 1 at 2:30 p.m. PT on July 15.

The Unicorns secured the top spot on the table courtesy of a superior net run rate of 0.487, while the Knight Riders claimed second place with a net run rate of 0.245. The winner will advance directly to the championship match on July 18.
Defending champions Washington Freedom, who also finished on 12 points but ended third on net run rate, will face fourth-placed MI New York in the Eliminator later on July 15 at 6:30 p.m. PT. MI New York secured the final playoff berth after collecting 10 points from the league stage.
The loser of Qualifier 1 will receive another opportunity to reach the final by taking on the winner of the Eliminator in the Challenger on July 16. The victor of that contest will face the Qualifier 1 winner in the championship match on July 18.
The Knight Riders sealed second place with a six-wicket victory over Texas Super Kings in their final league match, while the Unicorns maintained their position at the top of the standings on net run rate. Seattle Orcas and Texas Super Kings finished fifth and sixth, respectively, and missed out on the playoffs.
