The United States on Aug.12 underscored that its ties with both India and Pakistan remain “good” and are not being shaped at the expense of one another, even as Washington deepens counterterrorism cooperation with Islamabad.
Responding to questions at her daily press briefing, State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce dismissed speculation that the warm rapport between President Donald Trump and Pakistan’s powerful Army Chief could tilt US policy away from New Delhi.
