Two young Indian women win Naperville local elections

Two young women, Supna Jain and Aishwarya Balakrishna, have emerged winners in the 2025 Naperville Local Elections in Illinois. Supna Jain, having secured 20 percent of the votes, won re-election to the Indian Prairie School District 204. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Balakrishna, who was the youngest candidate in the city council elections, won a seat on the Naperville Park District Board.
